MY APPROACH

The way I teach, guide, and create is deeply experiential and empowering. I believe in equipping others with tangible tools and insights they can integrate into their daily lives, unique to the individual or group needs.

My intention is to create transformative offerings where individuals can heal, expand their awareness, feel inspired, play, and cultivate alignment within themselves and the world around them.

MY EXPERIENCE

Yoga found me in 2015 where I first experienced its transformative power as a movement practice.

In 2020, I received my RYT 200 yoga teacher certification from Y7 Studio in New York City. My teaching journey began with karma yoga, offering free classes to give back, deepening my knowledge as a teacher. In April 2023, I was invited to teach at Wildlight Wellness Collective in Winston-Salem, NC, where I led Yin and Restorative Yoga classes.

In 2024, I began teaching Slow Flow Vinyasa at Wildlight Wellness. Later that year, I traveled to India to study at Rishikesh Yogpeeth, an ashram in the birthplace of yoga, where I lived for a month immersing myself in yogic asana, philosophy, meditation, mantra, pranayama and sacred movement. During this time, I completed an additional 300-hour yoga teacher training, bringing my certification to RYT 500 and deepening my understanding of the ancient wisdom that informs my practice.

Currently, I teach a blended Pilates x Yoga Sculpt practice in Winston-Salem and am diving deeper into the art of Mat Pilates, exploring the blend of yogic and Pilates movements with the incorporation of weights and other props.

MY TEACHERS

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of studying under renowned teachers, gurus, and wisdom keepers, including Zinastar Mahadevi (Gurumayi Chidvasananda), Maha Michelle Martin (Y7 Studio), Jeremiah Grace and Pamela Luzardo (Wildlight Wellness), Imani Cohen (The Hood Healer), Taylor Wilhelm (Vibe Tribe), Dr. Amaravathi Eraballi, Dr. Chandra Mohan Bhandari, Sri Roshan Singh, Dr. Vivek Pettikattil Murali, Aman Tiwari, Amit Saklani, and Shailesh Chamoli (all from Rishikesh Yogpeeth, India). Their guidance has profoundly shaped my teachings and deepened my commitment to intelligent sequencing of movement, spiritual growth and embodied wisdom.

I sit in great reverence and humility to my teachers.

Additionally, my studies include foundational texts such as The Bhagavad GitaHow to Know God (Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras), Light on Yoga, The Great Cosmic Mother, The Healing Wisdom of AfricaBraiding Sweetgrass, and many more.

MY MISSION

To awaken the remembrance of our Divinity and inspire a deep reconnection with the body, mind, and soulful spirit.

Rooted in the transformative powers of love, movement, creative expression, and ancient truths, my work is a devotion to raising collective consciousness and the belief in illuminating the path back to oneness and unity.
